Easy Quilted Denim Placemats

"This tutorial shows you how to make easy stitch and flip denim placemats using some colorful focus scraps. I had lots of denim scraps left over from a denim quilt project, mostly strips and oddly shaped bits. So I decided to experiment and use them to make some placemats as gifts. I think the pop of color from the little fabric scraps makes these really stand out. You can personalize them for friends using their favorite colors or fussy cutting fabric to use a motif or image you know they love! "
