I prefer the One Color Scrappy Quilt...it is very pretty and looks very easy and a nice way to use scraps.

I used this pattern and tutorial to make my very first quilt for my new granddaughter. Since then I have made 4 more. Although my first quilt wasn't out of scraps but quilt budles from JoAnns craft store I found it to be very easy. The instructions in the tutorial were outstanding.

I like this pattern better than the angled stripe, too busy.
