Scrappy Ticker Tape Clutch
This project will teach you how to make a simple quilt purse using ticker tape quilting. Using a zigzag stitch in a bright thread, sew smalls strips and scraps of fabric onto a background in a mosaic pattern to create the Scrappy Ticker Tape Clutch. Ticker tape quilting combines the look of applique, patchwork, and scrap quilts for a fun effect that makes use of leftover fabric!

This is such a clever look and who doesn't want to use up those itty bitty fabric scraps we don't want to waste? And this little clutch works well for that purpose. You could also opt for a flap over design either over the zipper or as a closure using a pretty big button or a hidden snap. Or for the zipper, you could make a coordinating fabric tassel as a pull. Neat idea!
