Starburst Quilt
Break out of the ho-hum star quilt block mold with the Starburst Quilt. This star quilt pattern separates colorful, oversize star quilt blocks with crisp white sashing for an updated, modern look. You'll use simple patchwork units like flying geese, goose in the corner blocks, and half-square triangles to create these beautiful stars. This pattern includes instructions for making a small throw, a large throw, or a queen size bed quilt.

I really liked the looks of this pattern so I made it. I altered some of the piecing to make it easier and less bulky. I have received a lot of complements on it and glad I made it. Thanks for the pattern.

I love it. I was thinking of making a bed runner & these would be beatiful for this & will probably do the bed quilt first.
