Hexi Log Cabin Quilt Block Pattern

Block Construction
1. Print the pattern template.
2. Fold the paper along the lines inside the square.
3. Place a piece of fabric right side up covering the 1 section on the wrong side of the paper. Place a second piece of fabric right side down on top of the 1 and sew along the line between 1 and 2.
Note: You will sew on the printed side of the paper, be sure to place your pins away from the line you are sewing.
4. Trim your excess fabric. Press the seam open. Continue adding fabric pieces to the block in numerical order until you have a completed block.
Note: I recommend leaving the paper until you have attached your blocks to each other. Then use a seam ripper and tweezers to remove the paper from the back of your blocks.
