Baby Bright Quilts is a wonderful resource for anyone who wants to make a heartfelt gift for a newborn. This book includes ten precious patterns that make perfect shower gifts. Most of these projects can be completed in a weekend or less! Let the little one know that she is loved with a beautiful handmade quilt.

Though all of the patterns in Baby Bright Quilts are adorable, I love two patterns in particular. Little Trip to Bali evokes the Indonesian island with its colorful batik accents and appliquéd elephants. This project is a wonderful stash buster, and the cute pachyderms that decorate the border are appropriate for boys and girls.
