Halloween Black Cat Quilt Block
This Halloween Black Cat Quilt Block is scarily good. This quilt block design is a Halloween hit every year. The appliqued black cat is such an easy project for a beginner quilter. The tutorial provides templates of all the shapes you'll need for your quilt block, so you won't have to trace or freehand the black cat yourself. You can either machine sew or hand-sew the shapes onto the quilt block, depending on what you prefer. We recommend hand-sewing for a small quilt block like this so that your fabric doesn't pucker. The felt used in this project is also totally kid friendly. Your grandkids can make their own Halloween felt projects alongside you with glue and construction paper!

Oh my, I do love cats and this block pattern is just so sweet. I would love to make this out of felt for a fun Halloween door hanging. It could also be used as a table topper if it was on the edge of it, you could see the fun little kitty. One could change the color of the cat if you wanted and give this as a gift any time of year. Another project on my wish list!
