Pumpkin Boo Quilt
This quick and simple Halloween quilt pattern will give your guests a fright on All Hallows Eve. The Pumpkin Boo Quilt is so easy to make. It's just one big nine patch quilt pattern with a few modifications to make alternate squares look like pumpkins. Use your favorite Halloween novelty fabrics in this basic quilt.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Orange Snowball Block:
Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of each 2-7/8” black square with a chalk marking pen. With wrong sides together, align (1) black 2-7/8” in corner of orange 9-1/2" square. Sew on the chalk line. Trim 1/4" on outside edge of seam. Press black triangle out. Repeat on other three corners. Make (5) orange snowball squares.
Green stem block:
Sew (2) Piece B to either side of (1) green Piece C, make 4 sets total.
To the top of these, sew (1) Piece A. Press seams.
Quilt Layout: Refer to photo
Sew blocks in rows as follows:
Row 1 and 3: orange block, green stem block, orange block
Row 2: green stem block, orange block, green stem block
Sew rows together. Press.
Borders:
Inner Borders: Sew the 3-1/2" x 27-1/2" strips to the right and left sides of the quilt center. Press seams out.
Top border: sew (2) green Piece C to each end of (1) 3-1/2" X 16-3/4" black strip. Sew (2) 3-1/2" x 7-1/8” strips to each green end of this set. Press. Sew pieced strip to the top of the quilt. Sew (1) 3-1/2" x 33-1/2" to the bottom of the quilt.
Outer Borders: Sew (2) 3-1/2" x 33-1/2" strips to right and left sides of the quilt. Sew (2) 3-1/2" x 40” to the top and bottom of the quilt. Press.
Layer quilt top, batting and backing; quilt. Bind with black 2-1/4" strips.
