Handwritten Quilt Labels
Add a personal touch to your finished projects by making handmade quilt labels. First, back pieces of fabric with freezer paper for stability, and then write your label with fabric marker. This tutorial for Handwritten Quilt Labels is best for labeling quilts that are already finished because the label is essentially appliqued to the back of the quilt by hand.

I was cutting out the fabric to make this and I was reminded of the applique I had done for my granddaughter. it was the shape of our state,Oklahoma. rather easy to do the only tricky part is the lower state line that is a river. I have used pinking shears but with this I think I will do it as a straight line.
