"This mug rug (or mug mat) was inspired by a pair of retro eyeglasses, which are attached using a clever and easy applique technique. The background is solid, but could be made with patchwork for a different look. I'd also love to see this with a solid background and some fun print on the glasses. This is quick to make and would be a great gift, especially if paired with a coffee cozy or coffee shop gift card!"
