I have not made this particular quilt, but have made some smaller quilted table toppers similar to this. This type of project is a great way to use up your scraps and practice your piecing skills, especially getting your seams lined up perfectly! I admit that sometimes this is a difficult task and I have multiple seam rippers in my sewing room for when I have an EPIC FAIL happen as I piece...Has anyone else experienced this? Anyway, little projects are a great way to work on skills. They aren't so daunting!
