Animal Cage Comforters
Do you have a desire to sew something for a good cause? Then sew some Animal Cage Comforters to take to your local animal shelter. In animal shelters, mini quilts are often put in animal cages to help provide the animals with a sense of security. These mini quilt patterns are sewn "pillowcase-style" and take less than five minutes to make. Especially if you have piles of fabric scraps cluttering your crafting corner, cage comforters would be a meaningful scrapbusting project. Your furry friends will appreciate these comfy new beds.

This is such a great idea for using scraps to make something for charity! I'm new to quilting, but I think I could make a couple of these for my local animal shelter.
