    Cathedral Stars Quilt

The Cathedral Stars Quilt is an intricate two block star quilt that draws inspiration from a stained glass cathedral window. This cathedral star quilt pattern is made by piecing star blocks and chain blocks together on the diagonal. Make this quilt in many colors to mimic light streaming through stained glass windows, or make it in a simpler color palette for a bolder look.

First I agree with DD, why should all the patterns have to go to someones blog? Giving credit great to the designer however there is no way of knowing where to purchase "special rulers" because the designer does not say, nor are the directions printable. I am all for changes, but not being able to print the directions doesn't always help a person who would really like to have the directions in the sewing room. Changing things just for the sake of change doesn't make it better.

P.S. If I wanted to go to Bonnie Hunter's web site I would go there and not try getting there by going to Favequilts first.

ANOTHER ONE that wants me to go to her personal blog. Don't want to do that. What has happened to the old way of print patterns from Fave craft? Don't like your NEW way!

Hi, DD. FaveCrafts is our sister site, where we post craft tutorials in full. This is FaveQuilts, and our practice is to link out to the patterns on the designers' personal blogs and websites so as to give them full credit for the patterns. FaveQuilts is designed to bring all of these great patterns together in one convenient location for users like you to browse through, so that you don't have to go searching through various blogs. We are sorry if you find this to be inconvenient, but we hope you'll continue to enjoy our site and all the services it offers! Happy quilting! --Editors of FaveQuilts
