Carol Steely is the owner and quirky patternmaker of FunThreads Designs. Her award winning creations have been featured in a variety of publications and websites. She is passionate about fusible applique and sneaking humor into her designs. By making quilts for charity and teaching sewing classes, she shares her infectious enthusiasm for quilting and sewing. Outside of the sewing room, she is the doting mother of two wonderful young ladies, the wife to a very supportive husband, and the pack leader to a very energetic dog.
