Devon Iott I'm an avid maker, baker and nature lover from a farm in Ohio navigating my way through an urban life in Los Angeles. I like learning how things are made and then making them.

Some events in my ideal day:

First, I'd wake up early and feed my horses and chickens. Then I'd write at a desk while sipping coffee and looking out the window at the pine forest surrounding my farmhouse [with a gourmet kitchen and expertly tended garden].

In the afternoon I would ride my horse into town for happy hour to enjoy some discounted appetizers, draft beer, and trivia domination.

In the evening I'd either have a campfire outside and stare into the cosmos or I'd sit at my sewing machine, stitching beautiful creations with gorgeous fabrics while a very fluffy cat sleeps behind me in my chair.

But for now I live in an apartment in the city and teach private sewing lessons and classes. I sell my own sewing patterns online and I'm working to get them printed and available in stores. I just really love to make anything...sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, candles, soap, dyeing, power tools...you name it, I'm game!
