Patchwork Bunny Buddies
A gift for Easter can be special year round, particularly if it involves bunnies. If you have a special little someone who loves critters, make her one of these Patchwork Bunny Buddies. Sometimes quilters start a project only to put it on hold indefinitely. Instead of leaving your scraps in the closet, use them to make cuddly buddies for your loved ones. This project is a simple way to reuse any old quilt blocks and lets you reuse them instead of tossing them into the scrap pile. Children will adore these Easter projects, as will any animal lover who knows that cute is always in season.

Oh my goodness, I love these little guys! They look fairly simple to make - even for someone with no quilting skills like myself!

These bunny buddies are adorable and a great idea for Easter baskets. I suppose you could make them using any type of fabric you have on hand. I like the idea of using scraps, finding vintage linens that maybe have some damage that you can cut off and use the "good" parts for a sweet little bunny. The ribbon ties are a nice touch and I suppose one could add some embroidery for the faces if one wanted. Maybe buttons for eyes and nose, embroider in the whiskers and mouth? What would you do to personalize one of these sweet bunnies?
