I really love the shape of these ornaments. I am a huge fan of crests, badges and anything shaped similarly. I would probably make these out of tartan plaid fabric and add some embellishments, such as gold metal buttons. Fun tutorial and rather easy to follow instructions. You could do a lot with this idea if you let your imagination run wild!

I am SO making these ornaments with my family this weekend. We always make ornaments on Christmas Eve, and we're all huge Potter fans. SO, these are basically perfect! Thanks for finding this pattern!
