I recently saw a necktie quilt in McCalls quilt magazine. If you go to their webstore, they have patterns and I think it's one one there. If you don't find it there, try American Patchwork and Quilting, as I am going by memory on where exactly it was. I'm sorry for your loss. What a great way to memorialize your late spouse and leave something sentimental for your heirs!
