This is a really pretty quilt that would be super fun to make and looks as though it would go together quickly. I like that the author said she decided to "make do" with the green sashing fabric that sort of matched but not perfectly. I believe this is part of the tradition of quilting! Those "scrappy" women that often quilted out of need, would make do with the fabric they had on hand and especially the ones who did so during the Depression. The tutorial is great for beginners and explains the steps well. This one really would be a joy to make!
