I have not made this quilt, but it looks like it would be a really fun one to make! You could use any theme for the little squares surrounded by white, picking out an animal or flower that coordinates with the nursery room theme. I think this would be a good, simple pattern to use for new quilters because it wouldn't take that much time to do. It is pretty straightforward, so it could be one that a couple of ladies could get together to work on together for fun! This one is on my "to make" list for sure!

I have used this pattern several times. I like its versatility my first one was in soft pastels. Later ones were in bold, bright colors that coordinated with a big block theme (fish, dogs, Dolphins). Sometimes I add a small 2-1/2" border to make it slightly larger and bring in more of the white frame color. Another great scrap buster quilt!
