Bento Box Scrap Quilt
A quilter glancing at this quilt pattern may be intimidated by the complicated design. Surprisingly enough, the Bento Box Scrap Quilt is an easy quilting pattern that even a beginner can create. By creating 30 super simple square-in-a-square quilt blocks before cutting them into quadrants and rearranging them, this scrappy idea uses small pieces of fabric, making it the perfect creation to bust that stash of yours. The final quilt top is perfect for a twin bed accent, but you could easily expand the pattern with more quilt blocks on each side.

I want to add this to my to do list, but are you sure this is done in a weekend? It looks like a lot of cutting and I have found cutting really eats up time. It also looks like a lot of sewing. I am not a seasoned quilter, by any means. Maybe it is a quick project. It looks easy, but maybe not so quick. Has anyone made this quilt? Wondering how long it took.

Tammy, this is really quick and easy. It only looks complicated. Do you have a rotary cutter, ruler and mat? I have used fat quarters for this. You can stack them and cut several at once. I do believe you will love this quilt. Give me a holler if you run into a problem
