Jacob's Ladder Quilt Part 1
A pattern that may look complex from a distance may be much easier to make than you originally thought; just take a look at the Jacob's Ladder Quilt. In part 1, you'll be organizing your fabric. You can choose to use scrap quilt designs or a series of brand new fabrics. Either way, make sure you have enough to make what can become a throw or a twin size bed quilt pattern. This portion of the tutorial will make sure you have everything right down to the strip quilt piecing materials needed for the quilt border ready to go.

Planning on making this for a grandson who is at Annapolis Naval Accademy and will graduate in May, his name is Jacob. Going to make it with three colors if possible. Navy, gold and Red, Navy and gold are the Navy colors and I want to add some red because of our flag. Hopefully you will show different ways to put the blocks tog. I have also some naval fabric and blue with the white stars for the backing. Looking forward to all the directions. Jn
