Quilter's Four Square Quilt
A contemporary design that allows you to bring together some of your favorite essential quilt block designs can be found within the Quilter's Four Square Quilt. One block is based off of a slightly more minimal look of log cabin quilting block designs, while another plays with the geometrics of flying geese quilt patterns. Lastly, you'll play with color while using strip quilt piecing to make stripes. You can make your own variations within the quilt block patterns to decorate your home with your favorite styles.

Love the design and balance of the negative space - a piece of art. Lovely to see something other than the predictable geometric designs. The colour variation possibilities are endless and roaming round in this little brain - waiting for inspiration from the stash!

I just don't get contemporary or modern quilts like this. There is no skill to it. It's like, I don't know how to quilt or make a decent design, so I'm just putting these big pieces of fabric together that I practiced on.
