First, map out each design on a basic grid to achieve the right proportion. Then, cut apart the numbered pattern, assemble on the quilted base, and sew together with a machine. Rose Hughes has been active in the fiber art world since 2003. A design, fabric painting, and embellishment specialist, she gives lectures on these techniques throughout the year. She also exhibits her personal work in quilt shows around the world. With so many experiences under her belt, Hughes' style is unforgettable.
