This beautiful quilt design looks so easy to make that it feels like I would almost be cheating to make it as my first one, lol! I mean isn't quilting supposed to be hard and take forever to finish one? Still I really love this one! Perhaps if I call it a bed cover, instead of a quilt, then I won't be quite so guilty.

This here Easiest ever panel quilt may have to be my first one because it is so easy to put together and may not be as discouraging since it is so easy. I love the color combination and it looks like it took a lot of time to make. I love the way she used the colorful middle to give it that POP of color. This would make someones day to receive as a gift. Why not start one for mom for Mother's day. Great tutorial. I believe this is a good one for us beginners.

well i have made several quilts but that one looked hard and i need some extra practice with the cutting and other things. im 79 yrs and my hands have arthritics in them so that is another thing to contend with. but i still like to sew.

I love this quilt and am hoping to make it using purples and whites for one of the girls i work with. I may need to make it a little bigger as she wants it to cover her pilllows but will figure that out.

I think most beginning quilters are intimidated by busy quilt patterns and therefore fear trying to make one. The more simple the project, the more confidence a quilter gains. The more confidence, the more intricate patterns, I believe, a beginner is willing to try. This is a fool proof quilt. I like this. It is simple, easy to assemble and it is very pretty. I am going to make one for a friend. And for one of my two beds. It will be a larger quilt. I can't express how much I love the simplicity of this quilt. I can't wait to use one of my stash fabrics!
