This quilt is pretty and the butterflies give it added interest. It looks as though it would be fairly easy to make and it certainly could be quite versatile and easy to make some variations according to your own taste and available fabric scraps! The tutorial is well done and we are all grateful for that. I think that this would be a fairly simple way to work on applique skills and piecing skills. You could make a smaller version-a wall hanging if you wanted to have something finished sooner. The pattern would lend itself well to a pillow cover too. Very nice and special.
