Quilting Instructions

1. Teddy ears, face and heels of feet Make 10 brown and cream half square triangles using the steps below: a. Take one cream 3” square and place it right side up on your work surface. b. Take one brown 3” square and using a thin pencil, make a diagonal line from corner to corner on the wrong side of the fabric. Place it right side down on the 3” cream square. c. Sew along the diagonal line.

d. Trim the block ¼” from the line you just sewed. Press seam toward the brown fabric.

2. Teddy hands Make 4 brown and pink half square triangles from 3” squares using the method described in steps 1a through 1d above.

3. Teddy ears (center blocks) Make 2 snowball blocks for the ear center blocks using the steps below: a. Take one 3” pink square and place it right side up on your work surface. b. Take one 1 ½” brown square and using a thin pencil, make a diagonal line from corner to corner on the wrong side of the fabric. Place it right side down on the upper left corner of the 3” pink square and sew along the diagonal line. c. Trim the block ¼” from the line you just sewed. Press seam toward the brown fabric.

d. Take one 1 ½” brown square and using a thin pencil, make a diagonal line from corner to corner on the wrong side of the fabric. Place it right side down on the upper right corner of the pink square and sew along the diagonal line. Trim the block ¼” from the line you just sewed. Press seam toward the brown fabric.

e. Turn your block upside down and repeat steps 3a through 3d above.
