Layer cake quilt patterns are an interesting way to feature layer cakes: packages of coordinating 10x10 squares of fabric. The Piece O' Cake Quilt pattern uses one layer cake and 2 yards of fabric to create a top the size of a twin quilt. Working with free bed quilt patterns can be a bit stressful, but not with this beginner quilt pattern. You'll easily switch between solid patterns and some cute little square in a square quilt block patterns until you've made a chic new bed quilt that's really a piece of cake!

Great project. Looks like it would go very fast, especially after everything is cut. And some are already cut for me! Love it and want to get one made right away.
