Snowball Nine Patch Pattern
Create a quilt that combines two popular types of quilt blocks effortlessly when you piece together the Snowball Nine Patch Pattern. Scrappy and absolutely lovely, you are going to adore creating this cute quilt. Using 163 charm squares (or about 2 charm packs), this adorable idea would be a fantastic way to use up the leftovers from a handful of other charm pack patterns you have created. The final quilting pattern would fit a twin bed, but would be just as charming as a cuddly throw.

I have always loved snowball quilts and this tutorial is a good one, with enough instruction for beginners. I love the old fashioned look of the quilt and would use reproduction fabrics for an "authentic" look. I agree with sapxn032 that there is no way I would ever finish this in an evening either. But I do like to take my time with things and savor the look of the blocks I am creating. Super pretty quilt! Would you use multi colors, or go with less color variation?

Time to complete In an evening . I'm not sure how long your evenings are...obviously a lot longer than mine. It would take ALOT longer than an evening to make all those 9 patches and snowball all those blocks....it could possibly take an evening to sew the top together AFTER all the blocks were made. I would say TIME TO COMPLETE A WEEKEND.
